The International Nuclear Regulators’ Association (INRA) is made up of officials from the countries with the most experience regulating nuclear activities. At the association, members discuss and prepare recommendations for regulatory authorities to strengthen nuclear safety worldwide.

The main subjects INRA deals with are the independence of regulatory organisations, the efficient use of available resources, international cooperation, the challenges of regulation, the construction of a culture of global nuclear safety and the assistance programmes.
