The Board of Commissioners of the Nuclear Safety Council, having met one more week virtually, has approved the new Strategic Plan of the regulatory body for the period 2020-2025. This set of guidelines describes how the CSN proposes to achieve its strategic goals oriented towards nuclear and radiological safety and the achievement of transversal objectives.

This new Plan, which has been opened to comments and contributions from the CSN staff, defines the mission and vision of the organization, establishing objectives and activities to achieve its strategic goals, and defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will allow monitoring and analysing the achievement of the aforementioned objectives and activities as set by the regulatory body.

Communication with society and stakeholders, as well as transparency in their actions, will be guides for the CSN and are guaranteed by this Strategic Plan.
